[history]
Campaigning door-to-door in western Chesterfield County, Del. Lee Ware has noticed an electorate "unusually focused" since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
The prospective voters are focusing on friends and family - not politics, the Republican delegate said.
Voters who want to cast absentee ballots have one more day - tomorrow - to apply for a ballot by mail. They have until Saturday to apply in person.

Just goes to show polls only go so far. Warner gets the advantage in polls and money. Earley gets the advantage in late endorsements by NRA and Prez (not yet reflected in polls), non-Presidential year (generally favors Pubbies), and party affiliation listed on ballot.
Go to the polls on Nov. 6th, and bring a couple of friends!
Make some phone calls, distribute some literature, and just talk to friends and neighbors about why Earley is the superior choice.

We're not having any trouble getting volunteers. That's because a certain FReeper has been brow-beating all of his friends into spending unending hours with a phone strapped to their ears.
How many volunteers have been sidelined with "phone phinger"? ;-)

You make me sound so cruel! I allow one bathroom break per day, and three hours of sleep each night (assuming, of course, that each volunteer places the required 10,500 calls per day). And we have incentives in place to earn meals.

Make some phone calls, distribute some literature, and just talk to friends and neighbors about why Earley is the superior choice. Most of them just want to know how to vote.........sooooooo, I tell them. Just vote Republican this year. You can't do better.
Just hung up talking to my children about voting and got their promise that they will allow nothing to prevent them going to the polls Tuesday.
Good children.

How many vending machine cheese-peanut butter crackers can one volunteer eat in 24 hours?

You are a trip! (I'm glad you aren't in Tidewater....hee,hee!)

So what I am getting is that you are one tough taskmaster! LOL! You are doing terrific and with all good fortune you will all be saying Governor Earley! Republicans do tend to always get out and vote and certainly hope this holds true on Tuesday!
I am with you all in spirit!
