Yep, my FRiend, I was listening and taping the EIB...betcha Dollars to Donuts Dubyuh campaigns for both Earley and Schundler!!
And with the pollsters lyin' their butts off in favor of the Left, Dubyuh will come out smelling like a rose when Earley--and maybe even Schundler--end up winning!!
What a lovely day it is...MUD
It is more necessary that Bush stay above partisan politics at the moment. We have national unity right now. It's driving the Dems nuts, and they are just waiting for Bush to give them an excuse to revert to form. To their credit, Bush and Cheney realize that this war is far bigger than the needs of the GOP.
Oh yeah. And we're counting on the DemonRAT swill merchants to stay above the partisan politics on Wednesday morning.
If VA, NY and NYC go down, count on the RATS to start screaming that "while we support the President in the war on terrorism, we cannot support his domestic agenda..."
Then you can kiss that 90% approval rating goodbye...
So far since 9/11, every attempt of theirs to be partisan has backfired. Gephart just the other day was politely stating that the differences between the Dem's airport security bill and Bush's was honest differences of opinion. Normally the Dems would be shrilly denouncing Bush for his stand.

We'll see.

The 90 percent approval rating is from a nation rallying behind the president in time of crisis. The unity is not something for Bush to use for political advantage, because that would damage it. The unity is for Bush to wage war against terrorists, and Bush realizes that and is rising above politics.
But if some of us hadn't rallied to Bush in a political cause and busted our butts to do so, the nation would be rallying behind President Gore.
It's a moot point because I doubt he's gonna show anyway. He didn't need to do a fundraiser. But a more public endorsement wouldn't have hurt his credibility or the war effort.
Regardless, the President will continue to have my support. I just probably won't be as enthusiastic about it come 2004.
And that was good. But it's a different world now. There are a few pinheads around still bitching about Florida, but that issue is all-but gone now.

It's tough to say. The Dems are just chomping at the bit waiting to go back on the attack - and a political appearance would give them the excuse they seek.

He'll have mine. He is putting the good of the country ahead of politics. Maybe it's a mistake, but it's a good example for millions of folks who became cynical about the process.

"Darlin, how 'boucha helpin out Mista Shundler...I sure would 'ppreciate it....thanks hon"
Thanks, but - wow! - VAs has a lotta FReepers! Is there any way we can FReep the whole VA and NJ list at once?
Just waiting? To his credit, Gephardt has at least been civil but Da$$hole, et. al. barely came up for a breath before they reverted to the same old same old. (Note: how many of Bush's judicial nominations have been passed?)
I believe Bush needs to campaign for Earley and Schundler--he will need them (and his base which has been alienated more than once) in the future.
Besides, hasn't he asked all Americans to return to normal?
Good Point, LiberteeBell!
BTW, did you remember to FReep?
Done!
