That is what I was asking. Next time I will post news that is happening in the society section and bury it.

Please don't do that. Your posts are important. Keep up the good work.

I appreciate your post. Even if it turns out to be something innocent (I pray so), I would rather be informed about it.

screw these idiots...You posted a breaking story, and a few confirmed it. So be it.
These stuffed shirts around here like to piss and moan, just for the sake of pissing and moaning....don't sweat em. Most veterans lurk and keep and ear open. If something developes the'll chime in. If nothing developes, nothing developes...

Thank you for your report. It was obvious that YOU weren't the only one who heard the news. The problem seems to be that some people didn't bother to read the WHOLE thread before drawing unfair conclusions.
Happens all the time...:~)

If its reported on a local news station its valid news. EVEN IF IT TURNS OUT TO BE FALSE OR A HOAX. The point is we don't know what is false until its proved false. Until then, its a great service to have it posted so we don't have to wait till New York or Atlanta decides we should or should not hear it. Keep reporting breaking news and ignore the lynch mob. Most are perfectly capable of recognizing that early reports on local stations are taken for what they are.

Don't let a minority of the posters get you down. You are doing good to report this to us.
