I say "The best way to end war and ensure peace is to kill the enemy."

You hear - ...kill all the Muslims

Interesting, and you are not the only one to do this.
Is it that socialists naturally view Muslims as the enemy?

BTW The best way to win the peace is also to kill the enemy.

"""I'm not the eager one. I'm a realist. Sooner or later we will face a cataclysmic conflict with the Islamic world. It has started now, and WE aren't the ones who started it. China can take care of its own problems, we should take care of all offenders. Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Libya and Sudan should be devastated. Other enemies can be dealt with on a case by case basis. People or governments who give safe haven to organizations such as Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad should pay a shocking price. A price which makes the whole world gasp in horror.""""

How come you don't mention the Philippines? The Islamic terrorists there are actually holding some Americans captive. Sounds to me like you're less interested in "devastaing Islam" wherever it threatens us than in getting the US involved in a war in the MIDDLE EAST. I'm glad W doesn't share your bloodlust.

We can't leave without giving appropriate tokens of our appreciation -- like dropping oof some neutron devices to take care of the problems in Jedda, Riyadh -- and a few old style high altitude devices to turn the Arabian Desert into the Sea of Glass...perhaps I am thinking too modestly.

These kinds of childish fantasies and the advocation of invasion of foreign countries in order to annex their lands and treasure by some other posters make this place look like a Yahoo chatroom. Even if done in jest, about which I have some doubts.

All we have to do is tell the f***ing ragheads that we're going to drill for our own oil in the Alaskan tundra and that we will not be dependent upon them for oil anymore..

That is what we need to do, providing "our evironmental whacko's " will let us withought their protesting etc.!!

If I were the Saudi Royal Family, I'd remember how, during the Gulf War, the Iraquis rolled their tanks into Saudi Arabia. The Saudis counter-attacked and got their butts kicked. The Marines then rolled into town to take care of the problem. It could happen again. If I were a Saudi, I'd be very afraid of the Iraquis and the Iranians next door.

So folks need to vent, so nu? It may make some cringe and others laugh. On another thread Registered has posted a photo of Osama bin Laden's head on a pike planted in front of the White House, and next to his severed head is a sign that says, "Public Urination Allowed". Now that may not be everybody's kind of humor, but for a lot of folks it is exactly the antidote we need during these grim days. Lighten up.

See post# 85

Here is post 85:

I understand that there is a good deal of evidence to show Some Members of the Saudi Government have been financially helping Osama Bin Laden.

The bombing of The Khobar Towers could not have happened without Saudis being involved.

I've spent a number of years working with the Saudi military and I swear we can Occupy that sand pile with the troops we have there right now.

Based on president Bush's statements,we are completely justfied in taking over that Country.

My Post #82:

I am skeptical regarding the verity of this article. I don't think SA would actually do this, IMHO. . .

Now, check out this FR article posted late yesterday:

Saudi prince: US troops to stay

Excerpt from that link:

GENEVA, Switzerland, Oct 17, 2001 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- A Saudi prince said Wednesday that U.S. troops could stay in Saudi Arabia since only a part of the kingdom is holy for Muslims.

Prince Abdullah bin Faisal bin Turki al Abdullah al Saud was commenting on suspected terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden's demand that U.S. troops stationed in Saudi Arabia should leave because it was a Muslim holy land.

"Only the two cities of Mecca and Medina are holy. The U.S. troops can stay where they are in the rest of the kingdom," said the prince.

He also assured the world that Saudi Arabia would do its best to fight terrorism and improve international economy.

"We should not let freak terrorists to demoralize the world or prevent nations from improving their standard of living," said Prince Abdullah, who heads the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority.

This is just for domestic consumption, to keep the Mullahs happy.
If we leave, Sadam Hussein will have all of them up against a wall blindfolded within six weeks, and they know it. They hate it and will never admit it, but they know it.

Excellent point about the thoughts of the Saudi Royal Family.

Right now is an excellent time for the Saudi Royal Family to establish themselves as the dominant leadership nation in the Middle East.

What makes no sense to us in the West may make good sense to peoples in the Middle East, and thus be a prudent course of action for a government that seeks stability AND loyalty from Muslims at all levels of society.

It will be interesting to see if Sec. Powell will follow a typical knee-jerk emotional reaction, or listen to those with long term goals.

Venting is one thing. I concider Registered's pictures as venting. No one takes them for anything other than what they are intended for.

Your post was as follows;

Advocating dropping weapons of mass destruction in the senerio we are in is either crazy or childish. It's not entirely evident to everyone reading the thread that you were kidding. I assume you were kidding but given the earier posts which advocated annexing countries, which in my opinion were not made in jest but just made by morons, it isn't possible to be sure.

The point I made was that all of this nonsense makes this site look like a Yahoo chatroom full of children or otherwise weak minded people. If you like that format, why not go to those types of places? The people who hate this site, liberals and such, are given all the ammunition they need to discredit us all because of this nonsense.

You think I need to lighten up and I think you and others who make similar posts need to grow up. I guess we just disagree about the importance of having a credible place to discuss important things with intelligent people. The kind of posts that we are talking about tend to make them think this place is full of lightweights and move along. I would prefer people think before they post, or move along themselves. Just my preference.

There are hundreds upon hundreds of threads on FR. You can take your little preference and move along to another thread that is more in keeping with your humorless desires. Your need to slam posters as morons and immature and your inability to have a laugh says a lot more about you than it does about the people whose posts you dislike. Frankly, who gives a damn what liberals and others think about FR? If you do, you are on the wrong forum, mate.
