The security outrages at Dulles International Airport in Chantilly, VA, continue. It is being reported on local radio outlets that the firm hired to provide security at the airport has hired a workforce that is: 80 percent foreign-born, thus precluding proper background checks; composed of many workers that did not pass the required test for continued employment; and has many folks that are functionally illiterate. WOW!
The anthrax used in both the Capitol and Florida incidents has been described as "weapons grade" by investigators. This according to dispatches from ABC News Radio.
The Talibums, in a recent discussion with Turkey, have offered to turn The Evil One over to that nation without first seeking evidence of his guilt. The United States has, properly, rejected this action.
The United States admits bombing a Red Cross facility in Afgoneistan by mistake.
And in the media reporting on the media department, the Washington Pravda is reporting that CNN has posed six questions, through Al Jazeera, in what can only be termed bizzare at best, aiding and abetting at worst, to The Evil One:
1. Outline his role in the September 11, 2001, attack on the United States.
2. Outline his role in the subsequent antrhax attacks.
3. Whether the hijackers who committed the September 11, 2001, attacks received financial support from Al Qa'eda or training at its camps.
4. Whether The Evil One or his followers have nuclear, biological, or chemical weapons and whether they will use them or not.
5. Whether The Evil One has a response to fellow Muslims who say there is nothing in the Koran justifying his actions.
6. How can The Evil One and his followers justify the killing of innocent people.
Talk about a ripe opportunity for propaganda.

Because if they had targeted Jesse Helms, there are more than a few liberals who would have privately cheered the terrorists. But when one of their own is the target, then it becomes a national emergency. The first targets were the media and the IML. This was done by the terrorists for a reason. An attack on Jesse Helms and the local conservative newletter won't generate the media frenzy that hits on NBC, the New York Times, and lil' Tommy will. Like x42 and 97, liberals see everything in regard to how it affects them, and IMHO, the terrorists are taking advantage of that fact.

FWIW, the NBC studio was attacked..NBC reporters were HERE yesterday.
We also get Congressional visits on a weekly basis too.

FWIW, Denny Hastert is now announcing that they are adjourning Congress until next Tuesday due to these events. This has me very concerned...I don't know why, it just does. This stuff is reportedly so tiny that it could (I stress could) be circulating throughout the entire Capitol Building. Hm.

btw...IT'S the SENATE that's being adjourned...at least according to the Fox News Alert now being shown on the screen.

In fact - everyone get cool.
Everyone that has been exposed has had to take a decon shower. The 20 that have tested positive in Daschle's office in all likelihood do not have any spores anymore. They have tested positive for EXPOSURE, not having the disease or even any spores. It is a test for the presence of antibodies - which form after a spore has come in contact with the body, not an indicator of infection.
Moreover, anthrax is VERY HARD to communicate between humans. An individual would have to be close by and cough on you at the same time you were inhaling. And even then, it is highly problematic as there is a threshold of the number of spores required to achieve an infection (thousands).
Time to keep our wits. And, remember, this could well be a diversion.
Unless they got permission from the House, it is a temporary adjournment. The Senate cannot adjourn by itself for more than three days (I believe that's the number) as spelled out in the Constitution.
