The FBI released this photo on October 16, 2001 showing the letters that were sent to NBC in New York and to Sen. Tom Daschle's office on Capitol Hill and were found to contain the anthrax bacteria. Anthrax was confirmed in the letter opened on October 15 in Daschle's office, but so far none of the staff in that office has tested positive for exposure to the potentially deadly bacteria, Capitol police said. That's really nasty, giving the return address of a grade-school class.
To: TheOtherOne
I'm not a handwriting expert, but sure looks like the same person addressed both letters.
Also, it couldn't have been from FR because Brokaw and Daschle are spelled wrong.

Check out the printing on these--don't you think they look a lot like the other envelope pics they released, the one mailed from Florida?

"That's really nasty, giving the return address of a grade-school class." Yup. Had that letter been "returned", it's possible that an entire class of students could have opened it and released the anthrax therein.
Death will be too forgiving for the murderers who perpetrated this crime.

Anyway, it really looks like the same person writing. Look at the R's.

Start looking for someone with their head cocked to the right.

I don't think that is "pre-stamped". I think I remember those Golden Eagle Stamps from months ago

Hmmmm... looks like they heard the news about not opening mail with no return address before they sent the letter to Washington

Also, it couldn't have been from FR because Brokaw and Daschle are spelled wrong. Right. Any Freeper would know that the correct spellings are D'asshole and Brokenjaw.

Traced how?

I noticed Tom Daschle had his head cocked to the right on a news conference this morning. I figured it was to give us a better image of the capital behind him but now....

Look at the R's.It was the "2"s that did it for me.

Actually, we once printed up some bumper stickers that read, "Daschel's Taxes Stole My Lexus".

I wonder if such a school exists.
If it does, I'd go ahead and investigate what kind of science classes are being taught there!

Hmmmm... looks like they heard the news about not opening mail with no return address before they sent the letter to WashingtonNo, they were both postmarked 9/18. It just takes longer to open the 'fan mail' in Washington.
