If I were an organization that engaged in the systematic killing of unborn children for a fee....
And if I saw support for the legal right to kill unborn children slipping away.....
And if I wanted to get the name of my organization in the news, and to portray my organization as a victim......
And, if I also wanted to demonize a group that is an enemy of my organization......
What would I do? What would I do?
If I were a business that relied on people coming in my door for a "medical procedure," I certainly wouldn't be sending fake anthrax threats to myself and 100 others like me. The gains from self-pity publicity would be far outweighed by having patients (including those getting non-abortion services) bail out in droves. It certainly makes sense that pro-life groups would be sending hoax anthrax threats. It lets them gain an advantage while not having to actually do any killing of doctors!
