If I were a business that relied on people coming in my door for a "medical procedure," I certainly wouldn't be sending fake anthrax threats to myself and 100 others like me. The gains from self-pity publicity would be far outweighed by having patients (including those getting non-abortion services) bail out in droves. It certainly makes sense that pro-life groups would be sending hoax anthrax threats. It lets them gain an advantage while not having to actually do any killing of doctors!

Notice the planned parenthood clinics which supposedly received these letters filled with possible anthrax mixed with powder didn't close to protect their "patients". Either they don't care then if they risk exposing their clients to anthrax or they knew there was no anthrax.
