The so called " BIBLE CODES " have been long ago discredited. They, like all other fortune tellers and prognosticators ( hey, aren't they supposed to be considered to be EVIL, in GOD's eyes ? ) always come out with this stuff AFTER the fact. Like statistics, Bible verses can and are used to prove anything and everything.

There has been abortion, adultery, and every other imaginable sin , in every nation, in every era, and to claim otherwise is disingenuous. For GOD to " punish " people who did not have an abortion or commit adultery, as a supposed " wake up call " , for those who have done, is patently ridiulous and the antithesis of every religous tenent I know of.

Ezekial was a prophet. Prophets appeared in ancient Israel to warn those people, and those people ONLY ! They weren't some weird , early form of Nostrodamus, prognosticating future happenings in the VERY far off future.

Your evidence, research appears to be EXCEEDINGLY out of date. The skeptics have entered into a fair minded and well structured experiment involving the codes and other texts as well. The Bible Codes won hands down and by a HUGE margin. The skeptics were stunned. But it's not so popular in the popular press to report these facts.

The Bible Codes is nothing similar at all to the prohibited fortune tellers of The Bible.

If you deny that Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Amos et al . . . not to mention John The Revelator have nothing prophetic to say about our era, I begin to wonder if you are reading the same Bible. . . . or whether your fair-mindedness has been put to bed, first.

God, outside of time, can do whatever He wants within our dimensions and outsied of them.

When the "Bible Code" book originally came out, I recall someone published a column that proved the so-called code produced the same results when applied to a book of major league baseball statistics as it did in the Bible. It's such blatant nonsense that it's sad a single person ever bought into it.

"they have been discredited" Says who? Give me a source? ll the info I've seen says that the ELS codes, which were originally found by a non-believing Jewish mathematician, are incredibly statistically reliable. For ex., they ran similar ELS skips on "War and Peace," "Uncle Tom's Cabin," and "Gone with the Wind." While you would get ONE word (i.e., "assassination") you could NEVER get "Rabin," "assassination," the date, and many other pieces of specific information . . . ON ONE PAGE---indeed, in ONE paragraph-length section of Hebrew text. So don't fool yourself.

Now, the interpretation of these is quite a different matter. God does not "bring judgment" on America for sin---this is not a part of Old Testament or New Testament prophecy. Indeed, one of the few references to America has to do with American air efforts (the eagle) to rescue Israel. But when you come up with solid statistical evidence that you can find 15 or so CLEARLY related words or phrases in one paragraph of "The Hunt for Red October," I'll listen to you.

This statement is not correct. Don't get me wrong, I'm not supporting the bible code theory at all, but if prophets were sent to warn only the people of their times, why do we need the bible at all? Was Christ sent only to teach and save the people of His time? I think not. Furthermore, where are the true prophets of our day? Am I to believe that God has abandoned us?

Thank you. It amazes me when people attempt to abuse the Bible like reading Tarot cards, numerology and other practices condemned by God in the Bible.

What a bunch of wackos.
