You all can go to the movie's IMDB page to submit your goofs when the movie's out. I've submitted lots of them for other movies.

Why can't you chest beater types just refute assertions without dragging the knuckles around?

I personally prefer people with a clue about the subject their discussing rudely slamming those who don't, rather than the sea of clueless instant experts prattling about subjects they don't know anything about.

Based on female performance when it comes to flying jet aircraft off Navy carrier decks no way a women is going to be entrusted to fly this $50 million airplane

You should probably add another zero to that price tag.

I can't speak for the Navy but my sister does just fine landing on carriers with the Marine Corps.

Accomplished Marine babe pilot. Could a guy ask for more?

Oh yeah, I don't think any sweep wing AC begins its flight with wings at full sweep on the catapault such as is shown in pic#1.

I don't. The people with a clue spend most of their clue-credit when they don't know how to act civilly.

Fake... and ugly. What exactly is 'beautiful' about this thing (besides the pilot)? :)

For those who wonder what Bolos are, they are giant super-tanks - Continental Siege Units - controlled by sophisticated AIs.Hey, I remember seeing that idea in an old Speed Racer episode!

F-22 is land based only. JSF will have a carrier version.

All you guys comments about the movies are wrong. The closest movie is Deal of the Century with Chevy Chase as a looney arms salesman for the unmanned fighter that goes berserk.

Ok, I'll play, too: "Colossus: The Forbin Project" (1970).

A classic. I recently watched it again at 2AM on some cable channel. Did you know that the book it is based on had a couple of sequels? "The Fall of Colossus" - Humans finally get get control of Colossus and shut him down, via some help from friendly extra-terrestrial sources, or are they friendly at all?. Followed by "Colossus and the Crab". Extra-terrestrial forces come to earth, and without Colossus to help the humans, begin wreaking havoc. Dr. Forbin finds a way to bring Colossus back online, but what is Colossus going to do? Will he help the humans, or the aliens, or, both?.

I liked that movie and had wondered if anyone would ever attempt a remake..

It bears a slight resemblance to Boeing's "Bird of Prey" design...

"Kind of cute, but it doesn't feel right, having watched her grow up on TV."

Sort of like "Leave It To Beaver", huh.
