He performed his duties as session musician and behind the scenes production artist.
As far as credits go I don't know,(other than "All American Boy") and perhaps this is reason for his not being listed.
As a musician goes, I guess he's just another Todd Rundgren, d@mn good, but not know for his behind the scenes talents which were rendered to other artists who filled the spot light.
how about darkane,dimmu borgir,soilwork,in flames,blind guardian,hammerfall,amorphis,lacuna coil,dark tranquillity
if europe and scandiavia have ANYTHING? there metal scene RULES!!!!!!!!!!!
GLORIOUS BURDEN!!! patriot metal at its best!
long live rock n roll!!!
(I once took a long detour to eat some BBQ in New Braunfels, Texas.)
John Denver made the acoustic guitar look a lot easier to play than it really is. He's a legend.
And what about Chet Atkins!?! GOOOOLLY, that man could PLAY!
(I know, Denver and Atkins were not rock guitarists, but they were superb).
Do you play guitar, too?
The same could be said for James Taylor. The guy is a tremendous acoustic guitarist--as good as anoyone on the scene today. But, of course, he's most known for his songwriting.
And Tony Iomi at No. 1??? Yngvie got MY vote for that spot.
Dave Mustaine of Megadeth could play circles around Hammett and Hetfield, in terms of both speed and melody. (RUST IN PEACE!)
Jimmy Page and Eddie Van Halen - yeah, their places are about right.
I'm glad to see Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman of SLAYER made the list - "Reign in Blood" is one of THE defining metal albums of all time, IMHO.
When did Vivian Campbell join Def Leppard??
I'm surprised that Alex Lifeson of Rush didn't get a higher rating.
Mantas of VENOM made the list, I'm happy to see. Talk about an under-rated band! I bought their "Resurrection" CD, and they have lost none of their thunder.
Nuno Bettencourt??? Talk about a has-been that was almost a never-was! LOL
There were a lot of them from obscure bands that I've never heard of, like some of the Nordic death-metal stuff. I assume that their vocalists have the old "Cookie Monster" delivery popular with that sub-genre.
LOL I can rant and rave about politics, but get me going about Metal, and I can go on for days and days!
