this LOSER was actually working on my MOTHER and he was so easily proven a liar!
WHAT ELSE IS HE LYING ABOUT CONCERNING HIS CREDENTIALS???
not sure if he lied about that, but that is why I turned him in. If he lied about something so serious, he may have lied about other things
Michael Patrick McManus AKA General Ballduster MaCsoulpatch
Mom’s memory seemed to drop a full floor in 3 days, but it is surely affected by being in a strange location
However, each day i have to tell you why she is there 10 times each 5 minutes
her short term memory is gone
Monday was rough, I thought her pains and panic and shaking was the big one.
I was in the 20th Engineer Battalion which has since re-located to Ft. Hood, TX
That makes two of us....morale sucked in the late sixties. The unofficial motto was "Eat the apple, F*ck the core". I knew exactly one guy that reenlisted.
not offended. :)
Stolen Valor. Turn him over to the Feds and he’s toast.
MOS Number? Hell if I know.
Pretty much my story except that I got out at the end of '68. Haven't much talked or thought about it. Got out and moved on.
I couldnt wait to get out.
I begged to get back in several times. First gulf war and this one. Being told I was too fat in 91-92 was depressing, being told I was too old in 02-03 was downright offensive.
Good that you’re looking out for your mom. I’m sure she’ll do well.
7242 Air Support Operations Operator (USMC)
E number would have thrown me off a little.
I’d have to pull out my graduation book to answer some of those....but I understand. How does one forget Platoon Number ? How does one not know his MOS ? and those of us that had ‘em, remember our service number.
Keep us posted on what happens with this guy.
Prayers to your mother, Race.
Before you grill me, let me say I was in the Air Force, 77-81, I was in Flight 370 of the 3706 Basic Military Training Squadron, Lackland AFB, San Antonio TX. My Training Instructors were Sgt. Robertson and Sgt. Green.
My Air Force Specialty Code was 326X0B (doesn’t even exist anymore), and my tech school was at Lowry AFB, Denver CO (it doesn’t exist anymore, either.)
When I separated I was an E-5 and a 7 level in my specialty (making my a 32670B.)
Whew.
glorified radio and radar operators position
In the Philippines, I made a few joke t-shirts to explain my MOS to people
TACTICAL AIRSPACE COORDINATOR
TACTICAL HELICOPTER DISPATCHER
Great logos, colors, totally bullshit, me and the other DASC-ateers had a good laugh.
The ASRT side of my MOS would have been:
LET ME SIT DOWN AND BOMB YOUR ASS
The TACC side of my MOS would have been:
LET ME SIT DOWN, DRINK COFFEE IN A BUILDING WHILE STARING AT A VIDEO SCREEN AND TELL YOU WHERE TO GO
LOL!
I have no idea what you just said!
I had a friend at Cannon in 78, he got tossed out before finishing a year. Home town friend.
Died in an industrial accident, a cherry picker passed it’s interlocks in 2000, he got tossed out at 60 feet up. Didn’t feel a thing, thankfully.
prayers for you and your mom. My dad was there. I’d get up to go to the john, when I’d get back, my dad would ask “When did you get here”?? Yet his long term memory was iron clad.
I've never ever ever ever heard of any vet that didn't know his MOS.
Must be somebody else. I was just able to get registered a few days ago.
No harm in checking. Now if we had the same philosophy about Obama...
