Yes we sell bat houses, in fact I dropped one on my toe a couple months ago and broke it, my toe not the bat house. lol.

My uncle wants a bat house. Since I've been living with this aunt and uncle since September I think I need to get him one. I did some reading up on them one day and it seems a little iffy to me. Not really sure we're in the right place for a house --- but, there are a lot of bats living in the school gym which is only 2 blocks from us. ~shrugging~ So, I think my uncle needs a bat house.
According to what I read we should be a little closer to the river (which is dry now anyway.) Also, reading said there shouldn't be streetlights nearby. There are lights. And also said that the bats needs at least 50 yards of a flyway into the house. Seems like lots of pecan trees in the way for that.
But, gonna get a bathouse.
bats eat skeeters.
That's why uncle wants a bat house.
It's not for me.

I think I'll print up a sign that says, "old bat" and tape it on the door to my bedroom and tell uncle that it's the "bat house." :-)
Bittygirl is tyring to love on one of thenewcats. She doesn't understand why kitty is desparate to get away, what with two arms wraps around it neck and all.

just think, soon, bittygirl will figure out that the cats make good purses to carry around too.

karateboy recently figured out he could carry the kittens around. Before we only had Ben, a hugh old tomcat that will be too big for him to carry for at least another year or two.
Both my younger granddaughters want kittens. Guess that's what they'll be doing too. ~smile~ poor kittys. they put up with so much!
