Our Mission: The FReeper Foxhole is dedicated to Veterans of our Nation's military forces and to others who are affected in their relationships with Veterans. In the FReeper Foxhole, Veterans or their family members should feel free to address their specific circumstances or whatever issues concern them in an atmosphere of peace, understanding, brotherhood and support. The FReeper Foxhole hopes to share with it's readers an open forum where we can learn about and discuss military history, military news and other topics of concern or interest to our readers be they Veteran's, Current Duty or anyone interested in what we have to offer. If the Foxhole makes someone appreciate, even a little, what others have sacrificed for us, then it has accomplished one of it's missions. We hope the Foxhole in some small way helps us to remember and honor those who came before us.

Good morning feather. It's another lovely day in Oregon, temps will be 75 and the sky is a beautiful blue. This is the type of weather I only saw a few weeks out of the year back in Ohio. I don't think I'll tire of months of it!
Good morning Light Speed.
Good morning Valin.
We had a rough go yesterday here at the computer. An improper shutdown caused by a powerspike. This was our 20th improper shutdown since we got this computer 21 months ago. It was also our second day we've had this happened.
Eariler this month we had three improper shutdowns in a row caused by a line down North of town.
BTW, for those who don't know, an Improper shutown is when you shut down your computer with a program running.(Windows, for example)
Hi snippy,
Nice day here, a few clouds, but the sun is out. Temps in the low 70s. I woke up in the early am hours, the furnace was running. :-( Gonna be this way all summer I think.
Have a great day snippy.
