Wondering why President Trump hasn’t addressed this issue of China buying up farms and food processing plants in the US. He should push to outlaw it across the country.

How come I’m always reading articles about foreigners buying up our farmland?
It’s never about foreigners buying & selling in our high valuation real estate urban areas, where 80% of Americans live.
Hmmm.....
“Profit” for China is not what the crops can produce.
It is what espionage and destruction can be produced.
If crops help hide the primary purpose, that’s just icing on the cake.
I’m glad China lets the US government and its citizens buy what ever land in China they want.
What’s wrong with these “Americans” that would allow foreign takeover of U.S. land that could lead to foreign takeover of America? They should whisked out of their jobs & any influence they have so fast they might not realize it could happen that quickly. Allowing a foreign country,particularly an enemy, to buy American land is plain treason in my opinion & should be dealt with as such. As I understand it used nowadays, the punishment for treason is probably not as harsh as it should be.
I think they may need a little congressional help to do it.
For one thing, if you sell to U.S. interests, you are SUPPOSEDLY not dealing with our coutry’s enemies. Not real sure about that anymore.
China doesn’t need alfalfa fields to commit espionage. It’s ludicrous to suggest that that makes any strategic sense.
