TRANSITION. We are in second weeks since the election until the Inauguration
SEVERALpicks so far. LOTS of speculation and misinformation along the way>P>
Happy Thanksgiving Seattle Conservative and all you fabulous members of our Trump Family.
Excellent article to start out the day, “Giving Thanks: Donald Trumps Top 10”.

Love these quotes:
Let us remember that, as much has been given us, much will be expected from us, and that true homage comes from the heart as well as from the lips, and shows itself in deeds. - Theodore Roosevelt
I give thanks to my Creator for this wonderful life where each of us has the opportunity to learn lessons we could not fully comprehend by any other means. - Joseph B. Wirthlin
Thanksgiving was never meant to be shut up in a single day. - Robert Caspar Lintner
Good morning Lysie, Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
We will be...going to volunteer at the Salvation Army tent today. We are going to serve meals to poor families today. After, we are going to have our meal at our grandparents house.
I cheated had a YUGE glass of milk with a piece of cherry tart. (My sample pie ).
Good morning, Gran. Happy Thanksgiving.
Good morning.. Sounds good to me.
Another family tradition. Pie for breakfast the day after baking!
Enjoy your day. We are so blessed. Loaded the car with cheese- crackers and pie and off to cousins in a couple of hours. Too excited to sleep in. Gonna find a channel with parade prep on it and watch just a little.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
That sounds good!
I’m going to my BIL’s brother and his wife’s home today. They live fairly close to me, so that’s an added bonus (don’t have to fight a bunch of traffic). Will be about 20 of us there and all are conservatives (though my BIL’s folks weren’t too keen on Trump during the primary). I’m making the green bean casserole with French’s crispy fried onions and cream of mushroom soup and taking a bottle of champagne. I have an easy cooking day :-)
All of the attendees are great cooks, so looking forward to a YUGE and delicious dinner. She always has a lot of lovely hors d’ourvres, so I need to make sure I don’t fill up too much on those.
20lb turkey is fairly large! Are you having a lot of people over today?
No people over. We'll be eating turkey various ways and pets will have some for treats. I bought the turkey for 48 cents per pound so no guilt feeding them the turkey.
Good Morning! Get ready to cook!
F&F has been showing a little of the parade prep here and there. Looks like it will be on NBC, starting at 9 a.m. Pacific. They just said the parade will start in about 1 hour (eastern).
Have fun at your cousins!
My husband and I have a 13 pounder and the pets will get some. Just he and I this year!
Great price! My mom always used to buy very big turkeys so we’d have leftovers fixed various ways. She often made turkey noodle soup, too. We used to love having hot turkey sandwiches with gravy or taking regular turkey sandwiches in our lunch. I like turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce and cream cheese. I made turkey tetrazzini once that was pretty good.
All this talk about turkey is making me think I need to go buy a small turkey breast to roast.
Hi CT!
That’s so nice that your family volunteers to do that!
Enjoy your day and dinner with your family later.
Happy Thanksgiving CT.
A wonderful way to spend part of your holiday.
We have much to be thankful for on this special day....
Great turkey price.
I got a Butterball 1/2 price for 99 cents/lb and was happy with that.
We are staying home with some neighbors as guests.
Already had a big family gathering a couple of weeks ago that I am so thankful to have had. (We are so spread out across this nation and some in foreign lands.)
