No people over. We'll be eating turkey various ways and pets will have some for treats. I bought the turkey for 48 cents per pound so no guilt feeding them the turkey.
My husband and I have a 13 pounder and the pets will get some. Just he and I this year!
Great price! My mom always used to buy very big turkeys so we’d have leftovers fixed various ways. She often made turkey noodle soup, too. We used to love having hot turkey sandwiches with gravy or taking regular turkey sandwiches in our lunch. I like turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce and cream cheese. I made turkey tetrazzini once that was pretty good.
All this talk about turkey is making me think I need to go buy a small turkey breast to roast.
Great turkey price.
I got a Butterball 1/2 price for 99 cents/lb and was happy with that.
We are staying home with some neighbors as guests.
Already had a big family gathering a couple of weeks ago that I am so thankful to have had. (We are so spread out across this nation and some in foreign lands.)
