That is Ron Paul, soon to be nothing but a bad memory. Weeble, he will not even be in Congress shortly. Republicans in south Houston are about to hand the reins to Chris Peden. Nothing Libertarians and Independents can do to save him. Him and his supporters pissed off and alienated the largest voting bloc he needs to retain his seat, republicans. You all screwed the pooch.

Quite simply, Paul does not equivocate on the Constitution or the Bill of Rights.No matter what else anybody says, this fact cannot be denied. He's rock solid on this.

So he is strongly attuned to the need for a formidable national defense. That is why he voted in favor of invading Afghanistan in 2001, in the immediate aftermath of Sept. 11, and why he wants all terrorists brought to justice. Total bullsh*t. He was inclined to vote against it and instead use a Letter of Marque, but his staff apparently revolted and threatened to quit en masse.

Everybody seems to say they want SC judges that hold an “original intent” interpretation of the Constitution but nobody seems to want a politician that practices it.
