What if at noon on January 20, 2009 Ron Paul is sworn in as the 44th President of the United States? First, how could Ron Paul actually win the GOP nomination? Second, could he beat Hillary Clinton and win the Presidency? Finally, what could a Ron Paul Administration accomplish with the powerful special interests allied against him and his agenda controlling the leadership of the Republican and Democrat parties?
Could Paul Win the GOP Nomination? - Yes, Ron Paul is an online favorite and he has at least achieved a noteworthy footnote status in American political history with the amazing internet fundraising success by his supporters working on their own outside his campaign or control.

Not your thread to ask to be pulled. FR management did not agree with you. Must be a Paul supporter.

Yes, he can win, we just need a rule change.
What we're expecting is that they'll all get registered and vote! Then we're gonna change the rules and have voting only on the Internet, then we're gonna win! It's pretty amazing, some people think we started off with a plan.

What is the RLC Liberty Caucus? It is an organization started by Ron Paul to lobby for a more small-government/individual freedom direction for the GOP. JimRob was nice enough to allow them to host a forum here on FR.

The only way Ron Paul could wind would be if the KKK siezed control of America, banned everyone who isn’t a white Christian racist from voting.
The Republican party needs to expel this Klansman from the party. The Republican House leadership should announce paul’s expulsion from the Republican caucus and that they are stripping him of all his committee assignments.
If the dems want him they can have him.

Ron Paul would be the genesis of his own supporters worst nightmare coming true. If elected, both parties would isolate him and render him completely ineffective at which point both parties would run rampant. If he won as a Republican, why would both parties isolate him?
And how are both parties going to run rampant-you mean getting us involved in endless wars and runaway spending?

I don't think Ron Paul started it, I think it was started by GOP libertarians who wanted to have their voice heard in the GOP.

Then why are guys so worried about him?
If I thought a candidate had no chance of winning, like for example Duncan Hunter, or Tancerdo, I wouldn't waste my time bashing them.

This is weird stuff for a Klansman to have
on his website:
A nation that once prided itself on a sense of rugged individualism has become uncomfortably obsessed with racial group identities.
The collectivist mindset is at the heart of racism.
Government as an institution is particularly ill-suited to combat bigotry. Bigotry at its essence is a problem of the heart, and we cannot change people's hearts by passing more laws and regulations.
It is the federal government that most divides us by race, class, religion, and gender. Through its taxes, restrictive regulations, corporate subsidies, racial set-asides, and welfare programs, government plays far too large a role in determining who succeeds and who fails. Government "benevolence" crowds out genuine goodwill by institutionalizing group thinking, thus making each group suspicious that others are receiving more of the government loot. This leads to resentment and hostility among us.
Racism is simply an ugly form of collectivism, the mindset that views humans strictly as members of groups rather than as individuals. Racists believe that all individuals who share superficial physical characteristics are alike: as collectivists, racists think only in terms of groups. By encouraging Americans to adopt a group mentality, the advocates of so-called "diversity" actually perpetuate racism.
The true antidote to racism is liberty. Liberty means having a limited, constitutional government devoted to the protection of individual rights rather than group claims. Liberty means free-market capitalism, which rewards individual achievement and competence - not skin color, gender, or ethnicity.
In a free society, every citizen gains a sense of himself as an individual, rather than developing a group or victim mentality. This leads to a sense of individual responsibility and personal pride, making skin color irrelevant. Racism will endure until we stop thinking in terms of groups and begin thinking in terms of individual liberty.
