University professors sure can be inventive in the world of theology
Dr. Karenga...
the creator of Kwanzaa, an African American and Pan-African holiday celebrated also in Africa, the Caribbean, South America-....Dr. Maulana Karenga is professor and chair of the Department of Black Studies at California State University, Long Beach.... Dr. Karenga holds two Ph.D.'s; his first in political science with focus on the theory and practice of nationalism (United States International University) and his second in social ethics with a focus on the classical African ethics of ancient Egypt (University of Southern California).

I think this is very interesting.
This fits in nicely with the overall theme that the monsters Felos and Schiavo see Terri as some sort of a sacrificial victim, who has already been promised (to Pluto?)
Felos and Schiavo seem obsessed/possessed.
Buschbeck explained that Hellenes do not worship the pantheon of 12 gods as deities. Rather, each god represents a natural phenomena or human value.
And then from their website:
but... The Gods never left us, and they are back among us !!
I guess they're not afraid of offending these "gods" LOL.
I would like to have seen this!
To the Hellenes science is viewed as friendly to Cosmos (universe) (environmentally friendly) and anthropos (human beings), unlike the biblical dominion over creatures and resources. Even though the rational thought and the philanthropic science has its roots in the Hellenic Pagan civilization, the west dominated by the cosmopolitan religions of the desert(Judeo-Christian- Islam) brought havoc into nature and humanity. Cloning is considered hybris (insult) in the Hellenic world view, so we dont play god. When hybris appears nemesis takes care of that and brings back the Natural Order. So the aim is to establish an anthropocentric and gaiocentric science based on the moral values of the eternal Hellenic philosophers. As far as I know the cosmopolitan religions failed.
There were also the Pythagorians (vegererians)and other cults that offer flowers and incense to the divinity
Pluto as the name implies means the Wealth that the Mother Earth gives, wheather be grains, metals, petroleum. So they are actually thankful to Pluto the provider.
