My wife and I took our 6 yr. son to Riley Childrens hospital in Indianapolis Monday about noon. He had been diagnosed at our local hospital with leukemia. They are going to do a marrow extraction this morning to see what type it is and then proceed with treatment. Please pray for my son Dustin. Thank you.

God bless you and your family in these difficult times. Take heart from the high cure rate of this awful disease. My wife and I will pray for your son and you.
To: old and tired
Thank you
It is hard seeing him in such pain.
He has been such a good son.
I'm off to the hospital for now.
Thank you again.

May God's comfort and presence surround you in the midst of this trial. May He bring physical healing to your son and emotional and spiritual support to you all. This shall my prayer. Please keep us, your FR family, posted as to further developments. God Bless.

This may be little consolation, but a child in our parish (age 4) recently underwent chemotherapy for his lukemia and is doing quite well. I'm not sure about a bone marrow transplant for him, but I know of someone my daughters played softball with for whom it was largely successful.
God bless,
Salvation
Prayers are on the way!
