Just woke up and saw the results. The only good thing I can say is that the poll results are not immediately visible to everyone on their front page. You have to vote first, then see.

Well, I've been trying to vote and it still won't let me! Maybe those who put the poll up in the first place have the ability to control it "behind the scenes", so to speak, so it is blocking those who are trying to vote on the "no" side.

There are a lot of sick sadists out there on the internet. We had an infamous case here in the UK a few years ago when a man who was in a "Persistent vegetative state" was killed by removal of feeding tube - which was claimed by the courts to be extraordinary medical treatment.

It took him 20 DAYS to die and although he was supposed to be in PVS, observers said the death was agonising! Dehydration and starvation is a very cruel way to kill someone IMHO.

I'm beginning to think this is the explanation for all the "yes" votes!

After all, Terri's lawyers are asking that she be given a chance to eat and eventually live without the feeding tube. So in a strict sense, one could answer "yes" and still be on Terri's side (in the literal sense of this interpretation)

Perhaps TBO needs a good Email (or a few hundred Emails) pointing this out, and asking them to change the question!! Then we might have a REAL POLL (it would still be sick, but at least a little more fair)

AS it is right now, it's EVIL if their intent was to deceive decent people, simply through the wording of the question!

I voted again. There is a website feedback link in the upper left corner where you can send a quick note to the website. I did just that, requesting that they remove this poll because of its tasteless and cruel nature. They deserve lots of letters.
