There are a lot of sick sadists out there on the internet. We had an infamous case here in the UK a few years ago when a man who was in a "Persistent vegetative state" was killed by removal of feeding tube - which was claimed by the courts to be extraordinary medical treatment.

It took him 20 DAYS to die and although he was supposed to be in PVS, observers said the death was agonising! Dehydration and starvation is a very cruel way to kill someone IMHO.
