No, I don't know Cardinal Bernadin was guilty of what he's been accused of on certain threads around here. In fact, I doubt it, although clearly he was an obstacle to the mission of the church. But this movie does seem to be inspired by current events, no?
Since there is such a meaty source for high drama, I would hope the authors don't descend into silly church-bashing. Frankly, I'm not too hopeful.
