Wow, that's for sure. Now I'm wondering when/if I'll be told that I can 'choose' to stand or sit, but must not kneel. And if either/both of the 2 other local RC parishes have 'enacted' this new rule, too. Sigh.

Seattle Catholic (http://www.seattlecatholic.com/) is today carrying a link to an article which says Cardinal Arinze has ruled to the effect that the GIRM does not prohibit kneeling when returning to the pew after Communion. If any so called liturgist tells you otherwise, tell them to stuff it. (strong message to follow)
