Look, let's make this as simple as possible:
We the undersigned pledge to temporarily decrease the amount of time we spend debating with/bashing other Christians and cooperate on the following issues:
1. Getting a Federal Marriage Amendment passed.
2. Getting a Federal Pro-Life Amendment passed.
If you can't agree to these, I have no further time for you.

Correct.
Study of Scripture and application to daily life takes precedent to all other forms or works for without it, the works are too easily misled to become human good/evil to later be judged as good for nothing.
There is a time for war and as we don the breastplate of righteousness, there is also room for us to remain disciplined enough not to generate contrived arguments amongst ourselves, but that is easily solved is we simply remian faithful to Him in all things.
