Hey, my first freep post. I have a feeling this will turn into an addiction. Should I turn back now?

Anyways, there are many references to sexual immorality in the Bible. I can't name scriptures right now, but if you use basic logic you can follow it: The Bible speaks out on several different occasions against "sexual immorality". The Bible also defines sex between a husband and wife as the only "moral" sex there is. So unless your lesbian sister wants to marry a man (which she obviously doesn't,) she can't be in line with the Bible. But then again, neither can any of us in sexual relationships outside of marriage.

But like some others have said, it sounds like a lost cause. Even if there was a passage in the Bible that said "BEING A LESBIAN IS UN-GODLY," she probably would twist it around. Good luck, though.

But like some others have said, it sounds like a lost cause.

"I come against THAT in the name of the Lord!"

We are ALL praying for her to 'see the light', before she 'feels the heat'.

And HERE's Why!!

NIV 1 Peter 2:1-11
 1.  Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.
 2.  Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,
 3.  now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.
 4.  As you come to him, the living Stone--rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him--
 5.  you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
 6.  For in Scripture it says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
 7.  Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, "The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone, "
 8.  and, "A stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall." They stumble because they disobey the message--which is also what they were destined for.
 9.  But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
 10.  Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
 11.  Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul.

Colossians 3:4-8
4.  When Christ, who is your  life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
 5.  Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
 6.  Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.
 7.  You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.
 8.  But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.

1 Corinthians 6:9-13
 9.  Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders
 10.  nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
 11.  And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
 12.  "Everything is permissible for me"--but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"--but I will not be mastered by anything.
 13.  "Food for the stomach and the stomach for food"--but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

Take heart with THESE verses....................

NIV Matthew 19:25-26
 25.  When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, "Who then can be saved?"
 26.  Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

NIV Luke 1:37
For nothing is impossible with God."

KJV Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
