Prayers for daughter

I'd like prayers for my 17 year old daughter. She lives with her father in the US, and I'm in NZ, so I can't do much but pray. She was in a minor auto accident on New Years Eve, she had been drinking, but wasn't the driver. An hour after she called and told me, I started miscarrying at 7 weeks. Since then, she's become very depressed and alludes to suicide. She's been put on an anti-depressant and is getting counseling. The worst of it is that she's suddenly decided she doesn't believe in God anymore. I was devestated to hear that. She can't stand any mention of Jesus and won't talk to me if I make any mention of God or Jesus. She needs some serious warfare and deliverance. Please remember her in your prayers. God Bless you.

Yes, she will be in my prayers.
Please do not push your religion on her in any way. She will probably come around in time. It is better to accept her right where she is and let her know how much you love and not further alienate her by preaching at her.
I feel bad for you being so far away from her. The anxiety over her depression and being so far away has got to be really trying.
She also may have problems about your separation from your husband. No matter what people say, it affects children very negatively and they carry it with them for long years into their adulthood.
Most of all I hope she has a good counsellor who can help her work through her difficulties.

Sometimes God does not seem to be"there". Great saints and mystics have "felt" his absence. But there is a syaing: Act as if you had faith and you will have faith. Persevere. Pray. Offer yourself up, as Jesus did on the altar of the cross.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. The Lord has given me peace that the enemy won't snatch her from His hand, and like the Prodigal Son, she just needs to figure things out for herself. She has also calmed down and seems to be thinking more clearly. How wonderful it is to have a Father who hears our prayers and answers!

Adding my prayer to St. Michael that your daughter will have St. Michael's and God's protection cast around her.
