Whereas our bishop placates those who attack our diocese and its priests, we demand that our bishop turn the attention of his legal representation towards stopping the hateful and homophobic actions of George Foster, Brian Barcaro, Dr. Brian Kopp, et. al., who are set upon destroying the reputations of homosexuals priests and this diocese.

I'm flattered...

The battle in my diocese is taking a nasty turn, obviously. Please pray for our diocese and its purification.

Thank you all,

Dr. Brian Kopp (Polycarp)

I pray for all Catholics everywhere. This continues to be a sense of anguish and pain.

I left the Baptist Church for others problems, and now I am an independent fundamentalist Christian. I've never been happier.

God bless you and I'll be praying for you -- and for the souls of these, very literally, damned priests. Have they absolutely no fear of God whatsoever? If even one of them repents and avoids hell you will be an incredible blessing to these lost souls, no matter how much they fight you.

HOMOSEXUAL PRIESTS!!!!!
These kinds of people don't even belong there, even in promiscuos Thailand, Buddhist monks that get caught are defrocked, and in the Christian churches, the people turn their backs on them and go somewhere else, I was a missionary there for 8 years in the Golden Triangle area, and saw many churches fail due to misconduct of the pastors

Whereas our bishop threatens and harasses homosexual priests into fearing for their office, we demand that our bishop cease and desist any and all harassment of homosexual clergy and instead work to protect the reputation and well being of clergy of all sexual orientations.

This is what you get when you try to compromise with sin. If you define yourself as homosexual in orientation, you are not fit to be a Priest any more than if you define yourself as an atheist in orientation. Sometimes, desire itself is the sin; and sometimes, two concepts are just mutually exclusive. Deal with the unnatural desire issues FIRST, then apply to be the shepherd of others.

Good job Polycarp. My hat is off to you!

If you need legal defense funds or any help otherwise, feel free to ask me.

Looks like the old tried and true liberal lawsuit plague is about to be instituted in order to maintain status quo amng the gay priests.

Dear Polycarp,

I suppose that this is not a (very bad) joke. I kept looking for "The Onion" somewhere.

It would be impossible to satirize or parody these folks.

Polycarp, queer priests are bad enough, but queer priests who can't spell? What's with that in your diocese? One would have thought that pansy prelates might promote better poetry and prose.

Is burning these buggering bastards at the stake still an option? If so, go for it.

Nice work, Polycarp.

You know it's starting to hurt when they're ripping you by name and mentioning your FReeper handle. No doubt, these sodomite priests are monitoring everything you write here at FR.

Well, at least if they're stalking you via Internet, they have fewer waking hours to stalk young boys around the confessional.

I think your forceful writing on organized sodomites, both inside and outside the Christian pale, is starting to hit home. I know a number of FReepers admire your writing style, your concise assembly of facts, and your efforts to turn always in your commentary from the deplorable 'modern' situation back toward Christian orthodoxy. And these sodomite priests know how effective your writing and the work of your local allies is. These people never like to be exposed for what they are, feeling that it is unfair to expose how they are burrowing into orthodox intitutions to undermine the moral traditions of orthodox Christianity.

Consider starting a ping list just for your local activism and its web extensions. I'd like to be on it if you do. This is what FR is all about. Our finest moments are when some FReeper takes the lead in a good local fight. Sure, the impeachment and Battle For Floriduh are the big items but it's this kind of FReeper activism that makes this place a live joint on a day-to-day basis. Keep it up.

First, are you setting up a legal defense fund?

Second, ARE THEY NUTS?

This seriously was released? Heaven help us.

Whereas our bishop ignores the actions of certain priests who consistently act against the unity of this diocese, we demand our bishop suspend Fr. James Foster and Fr. John Nesbella immediately, for repeated and constant acts which threaten the unity of our community of faith.

What have these two done to warrant this charge?

II. Cease and desist sending seminarians to the present rigid seminaries used by our diocese and begin to use more pastoral seminaries for formation.

I think this one is my favorite.

You all definitely have my prayers.

Keep up the good work, Polycarp! You are getting to them.

I'm so glad that Dr. Brown is out on his ***. Don't let them reinstate him.

Keep on fighting the good fight; running the good race.

May God bless you always, and prosper every work of yours!

If the contingent that wrote this screed is against you, you must be doing something right. After all, if you ever want to confirm where you stand, just look to see who is on the other side of the fence.

One thing about it that struck me was their insistence that future priests/staff being screened for their suitability to the "modern church"...in other words, only hire/retain those who accept/foster deviants.

What losers. Entrenched losers clinging to decades of power, but whose grip may be slipping at last due to a slowly-increasing number of brave men who are fighting back.

Good job, Brian. You can add me to your ping list for future articles on the efforts of yourself and others to defeat the deviants...and hopefully, successes in that pursuit.

Pax.
