I've fired one like that (without the laser site, of course). Big noise, big kick. Nice!

I finally took it to the range last week for the first time with the laser grips. The Crimson Trace Laser Grips were just awesome! I even shot well with my left hand, which I never tried before. Well worth the investment. (Don't worry, if the batteries fail, I have Tritium sites ;-)
