All I'm asking, and all I've ever asked is to keep it civil.

It's that simple, folks. Keep it civil and maybe we would all learn a thing or two from each other. The Neverending Story started out pretty ugly and has survived it's share of bashing in all directions. Now days, things are discussed ovewr there in a (slightly) more civilized manner (with the exception of Big Mack ;o) )

You'd think religious forums would be more friendly than this one has been.

The Neverending thread is a prime example of a general forum chat room..there is a little religious discussion, but mostly mostly small talk..a fine example of the stockholm syndrome..

Was your church friendly at the Council of Trent, or when they burned heretics..or do you think they defended the their doctrine?
