You'd think religious forums would be more friendly than this one has been. The Neverending thread is a prime example of a general forum chat room..there is a little religious discussion, but mostly mostly small talk..a fine example of the stockholm syndrome..

WHy do you have to start in with this crap? This is what I mean, man. There's a certain attitude with some of the Protestants, specifically the Calvinists, that they own this board or something and have carte blanche to say whatever the hell they please to anyone. It needs to stop.

Oh there's definitely some ugliness in my church's history (and in most others as well), I won't deny that. I do think they honestly believed they were indeed defending doctrine.
