OBSERVATIONS:
[1] There seems to be a significantly reduced number of Protestant Threads (KJV Only being the exception for sure) in the FR Religion Forum.
[2] There seems to be a reduced number of FR Protestant posts in the Religion Forum.
This thread is a place to discuss these observations.

"Nope protestants do not "do lent""
Just an FYI: Methodists, Lutherans, Episcopalians observe Lent :) (and as far as I know, of those; only Episc. observe Lenten disciplines)
btw, great discussion going on here. THIS is how the Religion forum SHOULD be!

I appreciate your point of view.
Coincicdes with my point above about treating others the way one would like to be treated.

**The moderators are the ones with the bias.**
I disagree with you. When I got 'warned' I totally deserved it.

If the number of Protestants posting to FR has decreased, it is because God immutably predestined it to be so -- and, therefore, the topic is not worth discussion.
Just kidding, Calvinists.

**Why was that allowed? I didn't see the Catholics hitting the abuse button, or the threads being pulled?**
Where have you been?
I have hit the abuse button before when personal attacks against the Pope were posted and it had nothing to do with the thread. Also have had a thread pulled, but I think it was a misunderstanding.
Catholics have also been 'warned'. I can think of at least four who shall remain nameless at this time.

WHy do you have to start in with this crap? This is what I mean, man. op. Look Trent happened. It still in effect..if you do not like it, or are ashamed of it change it and ..stop whinning it is not attractive on a grown man''
There's a certain attitude with some of the Protestants, specifically the Calvinists, that they own this board or something and have carte blanche to say whatever the hell they please to anyone. It needs to st
Do not worry the title of this page is where have the protestants gone...or didn't you notice?
It is now all Catholic all the time..that is when it is not Mormon.,..

To: Jim Robinson; All
Jim you're doing a heck of a job here. Keep up the good work.
Everyone else: If you really believe in your doctrine here is some biblical advice for dealing with those you vehemently disagree with:
Rom 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
Tit 2:7 In all things having shown yourself a pattern of good works: in the doctrine, purity, sensibleness, without corruption,
Tit 2:8 in sound speech that cannot be condemned, that he who is opposed may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
Pro 17:14 The beginning of strife is like letting out water; therefore leave off fighting, before it breaks out
Jim is asking far less than what God asks of us. We should be ashamed that Jim or the moderators ever has to get involved in a religious forum.

** not one for constant prostelytization.**
It has always been my understanding that prostelytizing was not to be done.
Education, yes.
But not trying to convert someone to your beliefs (be they Catholic, Christian, Protestant, Jewish, Mormon, etc.).
Am I mistaken here?
