Great post. This writer expressed many of the most cogent arguments succinctly. BTW, 2 things about Fr. Levis:
1. His answers are always very short, never more than a sentence or two.
2. He says the Latin Mass himself whenever possible. I understand that this includes his own private daily Mass.

The Novus Ordo is self-imploding. Since the 70's I have heard the constant prayer "pray for vocations". There is no need to outlaw the N.O. because there will be few priests to say it in the future. It's a self-solving problem.
Traditional seminaries on the other hand are bursting at the seams. Whether these seminaries are supported by Rome or not will determine the strength and scope of the future Church.

We are creatures of habit and prefer what we are used to. As a child, I attended and recited the words of the Latin Mass. The Mass, choir and organ music had a mystical beauty that is absent in todays Mass.
I believe they started having children sing and play guitars, etc thinking it would draw children to Mass. I hate seeing people pick up the Host, put it in their mouth and CHEW it as they walk back to their seat!
