There was an article about a little girl in China after Chinese soldiers had trashed the church. Do you have the link? I know I had it, but it looks like they are allowing only so many on the profile pages these days.

Jesus is using figurative language to emphasize that all legitimate authority and truth ultimately come from God. The passage is not to be taken literally.
Who or what is being referred to in Acts 7:2, 21:40, 22:1; Romans 4:16-17, 1 Corinthians 4:14-15, 1 Timothy 1:2, Titus 1:4, Hebrews 12:7-9, Luke 14:26, 1 Thessalonians 2:11, Philemon 10, 1 John 2:13, 14?
