I'm not talking about conspiracy theories like the JFK assassination or TWA Flight 800 that can be discussed rationally based on the evidence at hand. I'm talking about conspiracy theories that have not a shred of evidence behind them.

In my mind, there is a defining characteristic of a conspiracy theory that is irrational -- when there is no evidence to support the theory, and the lack of evidence is seen as proof that the theory is correct.

What conspiracy theories, pray tell? That Bugnini had the help of six Protestants to fabricate the Novus Ordo. That's just fact, my friend.
