He has assumed that the Davidic line has to come through Solomon.

What verse says that?

The promise was that the house of David would rule.

Nathan is a brother of Solomon, a son of David, thus the house of David.

Agreed...God did something only He can do ..He has provided an answer for every argument against the Kingship of Jesus ..This is not about amil or premil..this is about the hand of God IMHO
