#13 Live your life in a manner which testifies to the Truth. IOW, Catholics, live your faith!
By their fruits shall they be known

I have some disagreements with the Catholic faith, but that is an issue for a different day and thread.
I will say that in general I like the suggestions. I have to admit that I have left many Christian tracts as part of a tip, handed them out with bill payments, given them to cashiers at drive through windows, have sent them in bill payments, and have even left some in rest rooms where I have seen of obscene writting on the walls. I believe in them and feel they are an easy way to reach someone.
I really like the idea of having a video to show the next time a Jehovah's Witnesses or Mormons comes to my door.... That should be fun....

When I started homeschooling I joined a statewide email conference to get some perspective on the complicated homeschool law here. People were constantly complaining about it or siting cases of harrassment or abuse by the school districts.
To give my view point, of how immoral the current law is, I started posted quotes from the CCC and the Papal encyclicals. That really stirred the pot, so to speak, there was some flack flying too but many in the Protestant HSing community started to examine their own church beliefs and the usurpation of parental rights became apparent to many who initially thought they just had to accept it and be obedient to the lousy law.
The initial outcome of my repetitive posting of the CCC is a bill in the house education committee for a new HS law that reflects the Catholic teachings. The interesting thing we discovered as the final drafts for the bill were haggled over, was that the current law isn't in compliance with federal code...and the federal code reflects the Catholic teaching on the primacy of the parent in educational matters.
The secondary outcome is that I've passed on the cyber links for the CCC more than I can count on my hands. We have an uphill battle with our bill as the NEA puts lots of moola into the pockets of the house education committee so I ask for prayers that HB2560 gets passed.

Great ideas. Thanks, I'll be leaving books on my desk at work I think, too.
