I am a dedicated "non-theist". That is to say that I do not subscribe to any of the world religions. I've looked into them, I've wanted to join and become "one of the flock", but every time I run up into questions that don't make sense to me and that there are no answers to.

Do me a favor, will you? Get together with the preachers, the rabbis, the ministers, the Buddhists, the Hindi's and the Muslims, and come to some agreement on what it is I'm supposed to worship. In the meantime I'm just doing my best to get through each day. I'm just not smart enough to figure out God, the Universe and Everything, and I don't think that ANY religion out there has figured it out either. I guess that makes me "stupid".

That having been said, I don't understand that "athiest" who sued to have the pledge of allegance tossed out of public schools. What a twit. Who peed in his Wheaties?

buddhists should be left out of your worship meeting as they don't worship a deity. There is none in their religion. It wouldn't even be properly classified as a religion if they didn't believe is the supernatural, to wit: reincarnation of souls.

First start by finding all that isn't worthy of worship, in what remains, you'll have an answer.

you mean non-religious. You do not have to accept any religion to believe in God. All you have to do is think logically, use faith (based on fact and reason), and come to the conclusion. Ignore all the religions for now. Just focus on whether God exists.

Hey don't feel bad, no one has ever been able to figure this out. That's why God has always told us what he wants from us and out of us. Any religion that says it has it FIGURED out is feeling a bit big for it's britches. But if that religion makes a good case for God telling us what he wants, you might give them a listen.
