I am currently a senior in college majoring in economics and math but I have many other interests including politics, music, philosophy, science, and religion. My main influences in this area include several conservative professors in economics, philosophy, and science. In the latter, I owe a great debt to the Reverend Frank Haig (brother of Alexander Haig) in making me realize both the potential of science and its compatability with religion (from big bang to Darwin). My hobbies include being a member (and hopefully a future officer in the Adam Smith Economics club, a trumpet player in the college's excellent Jazz Band, an economics tutor, and the lead columnist for the school's newspaper.
