All Catholic Churches everywhere in the world have a crucifix.

The formerly beautiful little Church I grew up at in Queens NY replaced the Crucifix with a bizarre Risen Christ thing along with a real totem-pole tabernacle .

No Crucifixes there anymore.

Bizarre. It is because Christ died for our sins that we are even here as believers.

All Catholic Churches in the world have a crucifix

Since some churches are dispensing the crucifix on the main altar, inquiring minds would like to know, the number of scandals per church with the crucifix missing. After all, if you remove that which is most precious to the Catholic faith...wouldn't that contribute to erratic behaviour? He, Jesus, is not present therefore anything goes, would that be their attitude?
