My son Michael

My three year old son Michael died this morning at 3 a.m. He had been experiencing high fevers for over a month and has been in the hospital again for the last few days. The doctors were unable to determine the cause of his illness and had contacted many others to review the many tests they had run on him.

Though he received very good medical care, his little heart just stopped beating and wouldn't start again. I know he is in the arms of Jesus, but I just don't understand why this has happened.

Please pray for me, my wife, and my other children. I don't know what we are going to do. We are all so upset. The doctor at the hospital gave my wife an injection of a sedative to calm her down. I'm feeling really desperate. God gave us such a beautiful boy, and now He has taken him away from us. I don't understand. Please pray for us.

Hi,how are you doing?Have they determined what happened to Michael?What an awful thing,my heart hurts for you.I think of you often and I think of Michael too,wending his way through all the angels and saints holding on to history_matters hand.How about your wife and children,I am sure its so dificult for all of you.

I want you to know that I have two little angels in heaven also.David was only 10 days old when he died and Benjamin was late and died while being born. I know it's not the same because I did not have the time that you did to know them and love them.Nonetheless,I wanted you to know how often when I worry about my sons down here,I ask them to stop in and gently nudge their brothers and nieces and nephews and keep them out of trouble if they need help.It is very comforting as time goes by.

Well,I am going to say my prayers and will be asking God to stay close to you and your family.If you have a chance,I know many of us would like to hear how you are doing and if there is anything we can do.

I have been wondering how you and your wife and family are doing since Michael's death. You have been in my prayers and will continue to be. I can only imagine the pain that you feel and I wish there were something I could say that would take that pain away. May God continue to hold you up with His righteous right hand to comfort you and your loved ones.

Praying for you too, and praying for all who grieve this week the events of 9/11. Noreen says to tell you that you and your family are always remembered in her prayers, and that the Blessed Mother holds your Michael in her arms on this day, the feast of the Holy Virgin's nativity..
