What drives the folks at Zondervan and IBS is simple: it's the money. They have decided -- whether rightly or wrongly remains to be seen -- that the market for an egalitarian, demasculinized Bible is great enough that they can make money on it.
I hope they're wrong. This protest may do something to encourage that hope.
