If the only choices we're ever going to have are between the republicans and the democrats, we're done for.

I find it preferable to that mess I see on c-span called Great Britain. It is strange that the mercun people will not allow a party to dominate for very long any more. They are sometimes smarter than we give them credit for.

The republicans are the best party of power and power is..............what it is all about in order to effect change. I will always back the repubs until the end. At worst, I might vote for a independent if he were part of the caucus.

I am not blind either! There are some things I violently disagree on. (like Social security investments in the market) (Like any un-constitutional laws against free speech or dissent) ETC!!!

Why? He made an assertion; Travis McGee and I both asked him to back it up, and he waxed silent. I'd say that is plenty relevant to the thread.

Apparently you feel very strongly that we don't need a President, a congress, or anything other that you and your friends making decisions. Someone has to coordinate all of it or you have mob rule - which is just another form of government. No country can have millions of decision makers - there has to order in some format. I think we developed a very good format.

One of the things I have noticed with all the people that want government as we had it when our government was formed is the denial of the rights of people to vote for the decisions they want. You do not want the voting people to make decisions because that has meant they have changed the government you want - the government as specified in the constitution when it was first formed.

Another thing your theories fail to realize is that governments evolve, laws evolve - one of top of another, one to correct abuses another allowed. Laws can evolve backward also - IF THE PEOPLE WANT IT AND ARE WILLING TO DO THE WORK TO CONVINCE ENOUGH OTHERS TO GET IT CHANGED.

Would you like to return to the 60's, 50's, 70's? Of course, many might - however, we all know that you can never go back because if you did - you would realize it still was not the same because the world had changed. Government evolves and will always evolve - there is no going back. Therefore, your only change will come from promoting laws, getting rid of laws, or working through the system to bring about new rulings and decisions more close to what you had in the beginning. However, you still have to convince millions of others that that is the best way and they too want it. That is the problem - people no longer want what they had at the start of this government. Now what do you do?

The link you offered contains no posts by you or Travis McGee. Nice try. You dragged a personal dispute into a thread. However you feel you need to justify that is your problem. Maybe you should start telling people you're going to die in a hail of bullets defending Dubya again...

You are a baldfaced, in-yer-face, outright liar. The link I posted, and are posting again, points directly to a post by me.

Luckily people need merely click my link and see that you are, most probably, insane.

I love when you continuously deny the most obvious and easiest-to-check facts. You had zero credibility before; now you actually have negative credibility. From now on -- and you have earned the moniker -- I will refer to you as DEBKAdog.

No it doesn't. It points to the page which has posts 241 to 260. Look at the url: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/religion/673903/posts?q=1&&page=251#289

Perhaps it's a bug due to the fact that one can set the number of posts per page to a variable number. Perhaps your preferences are set to view 40 posts. Mine is set to 20. There are no posts by either you or Travis McGee from 241 to 260 which is the page I see when clicking the link. It doesn't take me to post 289 since that post isn't on the page.

You are too quick to assume that people are lying to you. Get a grip on yourself. I'll look at 289.

Oh good grief. I answered this post already. The Israeli's most certainly went house to house in both Ramallah and Jenin. That fact is undisputed. They killed an infant on March 4 and a few months before that an 8 year old girl. The 8 year old was killed in a house to house raid by IDF forces. The infant was killed when the IDF botched an assasination attempt and hit the wrong two trucks killing many children and at least one woman.

As I said, people want to call this "collateral damage" or they will claim that the children "had it coming" since their families (it is assertted without any evidence) "support terrorists" and besides it was "self-defense."

Sorry. Sending missiles into crowded intersections is not "self-defense" and is most certainly not avoidance of collateral damage. Live in whatever fantasy world that floats your boat.

Egypt's Orthodox Christians look at how the islamofascists treat their fellow Christian Copts, and take the "safe" route. Your point is???

How on earth could you conclude that I want no government? I want the form of government laid out in the Constitution. No "evolution" of that form of government is allowed without amendments. Your ridiculous diatribe shows that you think our form of government is democracy.

Please keep your jr high school ideas about government to yourself from now on. I mistakenly assumed I was talking to an adult with at least a frame of reference for what I was saying.

Sheesh. To think that the electorate includes people like you makes me despair for the country.

Well, you're not as disgusted as I am with the farce being played for us daily, I guess. At any rate, it's clear to me that it's past time for the US to completely stop recognizing Arafat as anything other than a terrorist. No more recognition of people who murder innocent children in their sleep.

Bush may be just pretending to bumble and flail, but it looks suspiciously to me as though he's treading water and has surrounded himself with weenies who don't know whether to $#!+ or go blind. Pardon my language.

As his father attempts to shield him, Israelis shoot at 12 year old Mohammed Al Doura. He was killed shortly after this photo was taken.

Wow! That was a neat trick. The joooos, who were (if firing from the extreme corner of the command post they were confined to) 15 degrees off center wrt to that concrete barrel, managed to shoot around the barrel, around Dura's father, and hit little Mohammed. Furthermore they managed, from this 15 degree angle, to leave a perfectly round, rather than elliptical, bullet hole in the wall. The evil joooos also managed to cause the camera man to flinch at the fatal shot even though they were firing from, I forget, a half mile away?

If we didn't know the jooos have access to satanic magical powers, and that Palestinian gunmen have the utmost respect for the lives of children and innocent civilians, we might think there was a Palie gunmen behind that camera man who decided to create an involuntary martyr.

That's a bizarre theory. Also, let me help you out with something: I have no idea whether or not it was a Jew that fired the gun or not and don't care. IDF employs Arabs too and the issue isn't the "Jewness" of anyone in Israel as far as I'm concerned. If it were green men from mars, or Mexican nationals, I would be just as appalled. I am just as appalled when a Palestinian nutball kills an Israeli child. Just as appalled and saddened when US federal gestapo burn women and children alive and call it "suicide."

You sure seem to understand that mine was post 289 now. I believe you certainly understood it then, and were being purposely obtuse. Furthermore, merely going to your self-search would have been in order to retrieve my post to you.

Besides, you seem to pride yourself as some sort of researcher. You think a person with half a skill in it would be able to find a post, directed to him, on a thread, when the post number could easily be discerned from the URL?

DEBKAdog, you are as lame as FDR on his deathbed.

That's a bizarre theory.

It's the theory best fitting the facts, according to the forensics work actually done in the case - which you either don't know about or wilfully lie about. Given your preferred sources of information, it is most likely that you wilfully lie.

Also, given the cameraman's name and the way "palestinians" tend to do things, it's not a far stretch of the imagination to suppose that he and that machinegunner (old 50.cal in need of maintenance) were together, and saw the Dura's as a target of opportunity which would make great footage.

You are swinging all over the board here. You have asserted, serially:

Context is everything, and if I have discovered anything in my dealings with you so far, it is that you will spin, distort, omit important facts, and even physically threaten your ideological opponents. So I will need you to clarify the above points. References to articles will be most appreciated. Please restrict those articles to mainstream media reports, I am not interested in anything from the Holocaust-denier and Jew-hater Hoffman, so please spare me that nonsense.

And strapping explosives to children then paying their families for blowing themselves up is acceptable behaviour, and/ or morally justifiable as well? I've been watching you a little here... your spin is magnificent. Can we hook magnets up to you with wire coils to make a renewable energy source?
