What you will notice is that those who hate the Palestinians will tell you that when the IDF bomb cars and kill infants, women and children, it is "payback" and is justified because some bozo strapped on a bomb and killed the same in a market square.

You are mischaracterizing the Israeli position. They never call it payback and justify it on the basis that this was done to them. They call it a tragedy that civilians were harmed when their targets were terrorists. If a child is killed, believe me, there are no celebrations with people passing out candy and waving their arms in jubilation. If any Israeli soldier behaves cruelly, he is identified and brought to justice. Israeli terrorists end up in jail. Palestinian terrorists end up being worshipped and their survivors rewarded for their "martyrdom." This would NEVER happen in Israel. That is the difference.

You cannot deny that his father's financial ties with the Saudi Royal family are huge and influential. He must demonstrate that the days of the US accomadating the whims of these people in Saudi have come to screeching halt. Yet he is still willing to order a female professional Air Trafic Controller to leave her post in case it offends his rich friends. Do you believe that he bteryed the country with this act? Yes I can deny that this is about money. The only financial ties this is about are the oil and its affect on our economy. We just came through a recession and we don't want a depression. This is what Bush is paid to do - look at all the ramifications of his actions. Why in the world would you ever vote for a man you feel will run the country, make peace or not, based on his own financial interests or those of his friends or relatives. If you think he is capable of that - you better vote for somebody else. We had one like that - Bill Clinton - and we got rid of him. I'm not stupid enough to work my head off for another Bill Clinton and if I thought for a minute Bush only cared about his own family's financial interests - I would be campaigning against him.

Big deal - a woman traffic controller gets paid without having to work for it for a day. I sure don't have the time or interest to worry about that small concession. The prince was probably afraid she might crash his plane knowing how he feels about women. If that will smooth feathers and help peace - great - have two women get paid for not working for a day.

Exactly. They must return it and cannot have a weapon in their home. They have strict gun control laws as I stated. These laws deny anyone the right to keep firearms in their own home for defense unless they are of the proper class of citizen. Ex-military (and that is just now being allowed as of the latest legislative changes) military reservists (again only recent) or active military and police.

The people killed in their homes today were completely defenseless because of Israel's strict gun control laws.

CRAWFORD, Texas, April 26 (AFP) - An impatient President George W. Bush on Friday told Israel to halt its incursions into Palestinian areas "now"

"(The) Israelis understand my position. I've been very clear and there has been some progress, but it's now time to quit it altogether; it's time to end this," Bush said, making his second such appeal in two days.

The comments came one day after Bush's talks with Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, in which the two leaders discussed the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and its implications for US relations with Arab countries.
