His moves have been 100% BRILLIANT! There is NOTHING like allowing involved parties to settle it....and it is FABULOUS that the world now has a taste of the nasty palestinian leader, arafat-a NOBEL, oh gag me, peace prize recipient. President Bush and Sharon are doing a FABULOUS JOB-just FABULOUS. And keeping the lid on the extremists in the surrounding arab countries at the same time! It is BRILLIANT...it is called EXPOSURE and it is shedding light on a very wounded part of the world.

Please tell the parents of this little girl that Bush's call for Israel to pull back, stop fighting and scale back hunting down terrorists was BRILLIANT.

"The reason of course is, the fat bastard knows the Jews will shoot his fat ass."

LOL, That was funnier than the easter bunny cartoon, and true to boot.

That was pretty sick and very shallow. I expect our President feels more for this little one than YOU do.

None of us know what Bush is saying behind the scenes. We do know that the media paints his position as less supportive of Israel tha it is. We also know that our taking out Saddam will be more helpful to not only the US, but Israel than whatever Israel can do in the West Bank.

It is good to politely remind him of our thoughts, but there is a big place to stand between "BushBotting" and a "BushBashering". Finally, if you really care about Americans supporting Israel, the dumbest thing to do is go around so crudely insulting them and the man they respect, however misguided you think they are.

As I said, and you have not refuted, only those with military or police authority are allowed to own weapons. It's stupid, it's dangerous and it's tyranical.

I could, but then I'd have to kill you.

So, you absolutely refuse to document your claims? Just for the record?

No one has more contempt for the Palestinians lack of morality than I, and my heart bleeds forthat child and her family. The suggestion that Bush doesn't care about her is especially shameful and counter-productive. Besides, posting pictures in a debate over who is right or wrong in this battle is not helpful. If it were, then pictures of adorable dead Pali children would influence our judgement. The big picture is what counts.

You have to laugh(although, seeing the face of that precious little girl makes me want to do something completely different). There are plenty of uniformed IDF around if some terrs want to prove their manhood and faith in Allah. Yet, somehow those "Brave Freedom Fighters"(tm) could only muster the "courage" to slaughter sleeping, unarmed families!

Actions like this, IMHO, completely invalidate any "cause" that motivates them. No perpetrators of such cowardly, dishonorable, psychotic acts should be given the time of day, let alone a state of their own. This sort of thing, far from being an act of "resistance" or "war", is, in fact, straight out of Ted Bundy and others like him.

I'm firmly convinced that most terrs are really serial killers with an excuse. Even "opression" doesn't cause horror like this. "Humiliation" is simply not enough to make a normal, mentally stable human being look at a 5-year old girl in the eyes...and shoot her. The only explanation is severe psychosis, and it is ably encouraged by the upbringing and education these rabid rats receive.

It amazes me how anyone could not wish to see them defeated.

This attack from Hebron, the one major city that they did not clean out in the West Bank. Just goes to show you, you need to complete the job.

I stand by my thoughts. President Bush is handling the Middle East crisis exactly the way the most powerful leader on earth should. The execution is brilliant, the timing perfect, the exposure near 100%. He as disarmed the right of arafat to ANY moral authority, has allowed the other Arab states to UNDERSTAND that we will NOT and CANNOT control Israeli retaliation, has allowed ALL of the world to better understand the types of cruelty arafat and his band of testicle-less weenie thugs engage in, has focused the responsibility for PEACE on the other Arab nations that have been SUPPORTING arafat, letting the world know that they carry weight at the same time SUPPORTING their suggestion to recognize ISRAEL as a state, has suggested without DEMANDING that Sharon pull back (probably in full agreement with Sharon on how this would be broadcasted and when-think about it) and has kept our troops OUT OF ISRAEL. He has walked a fine line....which takes BRILLIANCE when impatient jerks from both sides are yelling from their armchairs about how easy the answer is....(because THEIR fast answer does not have to take into consideration the worldwide repercussions......how simple, how idiotic).

I trust our President (tho I could spank him for signing CFR, altho he warned the republicans that HE WOULD sign it if it made it to his desk.....they should NEVER have let it get there. Now they know). I also think he is handling the Middle East with tremendous aplomb. Spectacular vision. And the conclusion, therefore, will MEAN SOMETHING!

We aren't talking about mission statements. We are talking about actions. Obviously when one says one thing and does another it merely indicates one is a liar.

And even if you are right, how does violence against innocents on one side justify violence against innocents by the other.

Excellent question. What you will notice is that those who hate the Palestinians will tell you that when the IDF bomb cars and kill infants, women and children, it is "payback" and is justified because some bozo strapped on a bomb and killed the same in a market square. If it's wrong for one side it's wrong for both. Not however, in the bizarro world of the "Israel never does anything wrong" crowd.

No, I am not wrong as your self-refuting passage proves:

Until earlier this year, private gun licenses were limited to people in the army reserves who held the rank of colonel or higher, or to people who worked or lived in specified dangerous areas. Hazan, for example, is a shoe dealer whose work has taken him to the West Bank. But in the beginning of February, the law was changed. For the next three years reservists with the rank of major can also be licensed to have personal weapons at home.

In case you haven't figured it out yet, "reservists with the rank of Major" are not in any way shape or form, the general population. The gun control laws in Israel are exactly as I have stated. They only allow those who are currently attached to the military or police. Period. End of story.

Are you a liar or illiterate?

Mission statements are words. Actions kill people in these situations.

Read the article Fido.

'The country recently expanded the number of people allowed to have gun licenses. Israelis are flocking to gun shops to buy weapons or trade the guns they have for bigger ones. Even opponents of loosening gun laws have dropped their objections, at least for the moment. "You cannot ignore the situation," said Gali Etzion, a lawyer for Na'amat, a woman's organization that has in the past opposed liberalizing laws on gun ownership. Until earlier this year, private gun licenses were limited to people in the army reserves who held the rank of colonel or higher, or to people who worked or lived in specified dangerous areas. Hazan, for example, is a shoe dealer whose work has taken him to the West Bank.'
