I have a solution - get the he11 out of Palestinian land. Remove the illegal settlements now. Lets be honest the Jewish people have a dream of a greater Israel that occupies all of the land now held by the Pal's. That's why they will sacrifice these settlers again and again - they represent a foothold of what is to come and provide a great excuse to continue battling the Pal's when they strike at them as percieved invaders.

Nearly all of Mother Maria's reporting comes from Palestinian sources. She has not herself witnessed the alleged Israeli atrocities. "There is no way we can confirm any of that," admitted Stephanopoulos family friend Father John Reeves, referring to the alleged Palestinian home-and-clinic raids cited by Stephanopoulos in her April 15 e-mail to him. Still, I wonder if telling the truth straight out is not better than fudging the truth to try and keep a country on our side for a while longer.

It sure would be nice to call a spade a spade. The trouble is, that as long as we are viewed as a mediator, we play word games to maintain our credibility. The difference this time is that Bush is leaning much harder on the Pali's which is what is ticking off the Arabs. To do anything less would remind me of Clintons attempt, which failed miserably.

If we lose the mediator status, then we can vent our real frustrations. But, who would mediate? The EU? The U.N.? We are protecting Israel, even though some folks cannot see it!

The Palestinians don't have land. They've been kicked out of other Arab lands at one time or another. They aren't a real people, have no real culture, and don't have their own language. They are a figment of their own imagination. They are no more "Palestinians" than any other arab, hispanic, caucasian, head of lettuce or stone boulder that wanted to lay claim to the name.
