And the Bible says that "those" he foreknew he predestined. You already know what I believe that indicates....foreknowledge precedes predestination.

xzins your reading makes no sense..Why predestine those that have already chosen you?

4267 proginosko {prog-in-oce'-ko} from 4253 and 1097; TDNT - 1:715,119; v AV - foreknow 2, foreordain 1, know 1, know before 1; 5

1) to have knowledge before hand
2) to foreknow
2a) of those whom God elected to salvation 3) to predestinate

Those He did foreordain He did predestinate.....

2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

It's FOREKNOW, Rnnie. It's about knowledge.

The answer to your question: Because, foreknowledge is not the same as ACTION, Rn. When he foreknew it, it HAD NOT HAPPENED YET.

The predestining is the step that makes it happen. What God saw as a vision, he implemented in the predestining.

This is what the word means in Rom 8!

2) to foreknow 2a) of those whom God elected to salvation 3) to predestinate Those He did foreordain He did predestinate.....

That is why the reading forordaination is incorrect for Rom.8 it is redundent You would rather have the Scripture not make any sense then for TULIP to be wrong!

Who will have all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of truth (1Tim.2:4), For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men espically of those that believe (1Tim.4:10)
