I have no problem with my theist theroy of evolution and can't understand why some people feel so...threatened by it. If God made all things, then why is it so inconcievable that His hand guides evolution? I understand and accept your point but please remember there are those of us who have come to doubt macro-evolution for non-religous reasons. I strongly question whether macro-evolution occurs. Expressing such doubts often finds oneself subject to rather ad hominem arguments. It happens to those expressing a pro-evolutionists also, I know, and I like to think I've not been a party to the practice.
I don't think macro-evolution has been proved and I think there's nothing wrong -- actually I think it's benefical -- to treat it with some skeptism.

How do you define macroevolution?

I am always open to a healthy dose of skepticism. I find myself playing the skeptic on many topics...parapsychological phenomena in particular.
As for evolution theory being proven, I guess that all depends on the individual. i have seen enough to convince me, and perhaps it will just take more evidence for you. No problem in that, just try to keep an open mind when (if) that proof comes along.
Thanx for your well thought out responce...quite refreshing compared to some.

there are those of us who have come to doubt macro-evolution for non-religous reasons.I am extremely interested in what a non-religious alternative to evolution could be. If there is a non-religious entity creating living systems or guiding their evolution, how did it/they come into existence?
