Why Christians Don't Understand Non-Christians

Aren't you being imprecise? What's the main difference between Christians and non-Christians (That is, as defined in the New Testament as a believer in Jesus)? All Christians used to be non-Christians. In this case, Christians would be more uniquely able to understand non-Christians than vice versa, like married people can understand the never-been-married in a way the latter can't possibly understand the former. Of course, if you're just using "Christian" as a label to describe a cultural group into which people are born and as a result are considered "Christians" then the distinction of "Christians not understanding non-Christians" still has a lot of problems since there are almost as many types of cultural "Christians" as there are cultural anything else.

No, I really don't understand them. True, I was just like them, except that G-d got my attention. Believe me, there is nothing special about me. I am as hard headed, stubborn, and proud as anyone I know. (That doesn't sound proud, does it?) There is no reason why G-d would prefer me to lexcorp or anyone else. If G-d could get through to me, He could get through to anyone.

Therefore, there is something about those who have not accepted His call that I truly don't understand.
